Cookie Policy
Which cookies are used by cashfulness.com. Only technical and preference cookies, no profiling.
This Cookie Policy describes which cookies are used by the website cashfulness.com, operated by Vittorio Giusti srl (VAT 12122090967). Full registered office and contact details of the company are listed in the Privacy Policy. For the narrative manifesto on our privacy philosophy see /privacy-radicale.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited websites save on the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone). They allow a site to “recognize” the device on subsequent visits, keep login sessions active, remember preferences (language, theme), or — for sites that use them — track user behaviour for profiling and advertising purposes.
In Europe, cookie usage is regulated by the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.
2. Which cookies Cashfulness uses
The website cashfulness.com uses exclusively technical and preference cookies. It does not use profiling, marketing, advertising or third-party behavioural-tracking cookies.
2.1. Session technical cookies (necessary, no consent required)
These cookies are essential to the operation of the site. Under the Italian Data Protection Authority’s 10 June 2021 ruling, they do not require prior user consent.
| Cookie name (indicative) | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Authenticated user session access token (Supabase Auth) | Session (~1 hour, auto-refresh) | Technical, first-party |
sb-refresh-token | Session refresh token (prevents disconnection at each token expiry) | 30 days | Technical, first-party |
next-auth.csrf-token or equivalent | Protection against CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) attacks | Session | Technical security, first-party |
NEXT_LOCALE | Interface language preference (Italian or English) | 1 year | Functional technical, first-party |
2.2. Preference cookies (optional)
These store the visualization preferences chosen by the user. They do not track behaviour, do not profile.
| Cookie name (indicative) | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
cf_theme | Visual theme preference (light / dark / auto) | 1 year | Functional, first-party |
cf_billing | Pricing view preference (monthly / annual) on /pricing | 1 year | Functional, first-party |
2.3. Analytics cookies: NONE
Cashfulness uses Umami (umami.is) as its privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not fingerprint, does not track users across sites. It measures visits, sources, and page views in anonymous, aggregated form. Visitor IP addresses are not stored: they are used solely to infer the country of origin and then discarded.
For this reason Cashfulness does not display any cookie banner for analytics: there is nothing to accept or refuse regarding analytics, because no cookies are used for that purpose.
2.4. Profiling, marketing, advertising cookies: NONE
Cashfulness does not use:
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram tracking)
- TikTok Pixel
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Mouseflow or other session-recording tools
- Retargeting pixels of any kind
- Third-party advertising cookies
3. Third-party cookies for integrated services
Some pages of the site may integrate third-party content or services that, on their own initiative, may set cookies. Currently:
- Stripe (web payments): the
/checkoutpage, when the user starts a payment procedure, loads the Stripe widget which may set technical cookies necessary for checkout. For details see the Stripe Cookie Policy. - YouTube / Google LLC (videos embedded on the site and in the app): pages of the site and of the application may include videos hosted on YouTube. When the user loads and plays a YouTube video, it is YouTube (Google LLC) that directly sets its own cookies in the user’s browser. Cashfulness has no visibility, control or technical disposal over those cookies: they are governed by Google’s Cookie Policy, and acceptance or refusal takes place within the direct relationship between the User and Google LLC.
These cookies are governed by the policies of the respective providers and are not directly under our control.
4. How to manage cookies
The user can manage cookies at any time through their browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Brave: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Arc: Settings → Privacy → Cookies
The user can also delete already-saved cookies. Warning: disabling session technical cookies will make it impossible to keep the login active and therefore to use the service.
For preference cookies (theme, language, billing): disabling them will result in the loss of the chosen visual preferences but will not prevent site usage.
5. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy over time, for regulatory updates, site changes, or introduction of new technical services. Modifications are published on this page with the date updated at the top.
Should we introduce in the future cookies different from those currently in use (e.g. eventual introduction of third-party analytics, today excluded from our product strategy), a consent banner compliant with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s 10 June 2021 Guidelines will be displayed.
